Don't hesitate to get in touch with our CLC office to discuss further: Sarah Warren, CLC Coordinator, [email protected] or by phone 1-503-359-2506 ex. 3041
- If your child is only attending the first hour, you must pick them up at the TM West front entrance at 3:30 PM.
Is my student required to attend both hours?
- No, if you wish for your child only to attend the first hour, then they must be picked up at 3:30 or be within distance of walking/riding bike distance home.
- Students staying on campus to ride the CLC bus home at 4:30 will need to attend BOTH hours.
Who?
- All clubs and activities will be led by FGSD staff, community members, and partners.
- All 5th and 6th-graders within the FGSD boundaries are welcome, including those not enrolled at Tom McCall.
-
Families with a 5th or 6th grader enrolled in homeschool, private school, or online schooling may contact our CLC Coordinator, Sarah Warren, with registration interest and questions.
How do we register?
Clubs are lottery-based this year, and we welcome all families to complete the registration with their students.
We will enroll students by lottery each week based on space available in each club.
If your child is placed in any clubs, we will provide them with a schedule and an official start date.
Will Attendance be counted?
- Yes, attendance is taken during every session.
- Please call 503-359-2506 to excuse your child if they will be missing clubs.
- Please be sure to mention that your student has clubs when calling to excuse them from the regular school day.
- Students with 3 or more unexcused absences in a club will be unenrolled to accommodate others who listed the club as one of their preferences on the registration interest survey.
WAITLIST:
We will keep your students' preferred choices from the registration in our database. If a space becomes available in a club, we will send your student an official CLC club schedule with a start date listed at the top.
Can my student switch clubs?
Clubs are offered on a lottery basis based on the space available in each club. If there is room, then you will be notified of the change in your student's schedule.
For further questions, students may submit an I Need Help form to the front office (East or West)
